Unfortunately we are unable to report on the game play on Jackpotcitybingo. This is the reason:
Let me explain: I have signed up the account from a Spanish IP address and registered Spanish address. The mistake was using my Gibraltar Bankcard. That seems to have flashed some warning lights at Jackpotcitybingo and I was asked to submit a picture identification, a recent utility bill from the Spanish residence as well as the reason why the Bankcard was registered elsewhere (as if that matters!). That is what I have done. I sent all of the requested documents to them with the explanation of the close proximity of Gibraltar and Spain and that it was really quite feasible to bank in Gibraltar but live in Spain. I was looking forward to testing the site in the near future. But there was another problem!. The utility bill only carried my husbands name. Naturally the surname is the same as mine but apparently that was not good enough. Adding to the confusion is that my English mainstream Bank in Gibraltar obviously issues cards that are registered in the UK and are therefore flagged as UK Bankcards. Thus, Jackpotcitybingo replied with a request for our marriage certificate as well as a bank statement clearly stating my name and address.

Although I have gone through the registration process that neither asks for your payment method to be in the same country as you live, or that if you live here and pay there we will need an FBI check on your background, I deposited money to the account, which they happily took then blocked.

After lots of mails to and fro to their Customer Service desk, and loads of friendly hugs and kisses, the issue is still not resolved. The long and the short of it all is that they are not as switched on as they should be and although they took our money, no account has been debited to date and I still can’t play.
